I studied art at the National University in Córdoba (Argentina) where I eventually became part of the Drawing I and Painting Techniques and Materials professorship, and I simultaneously opened my own private workshop to impart drawing and painting classes. I participated in numerous shows and prizes in Argentina, Australia, Brazil and the United States. In 1989 I was awarded the 4th Prize in painting, at the "Formas y Colores" Art Gallery in Córdoba, Argentina. I also had my work exhibited in 1990, in São Paulo, Brazil, at the "Argentina 90 Art Fair" at Anmheby Park. I was awarded the 5th Prize at the VI Sacred Art Biennial that took place at the Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1996. Among the main shows in which I took part in Argentina, is the one organized by the Deutsche Bank, “Young Argentinean Art Award” at the prestigious Centro Cultural Recoleta de Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the year 1997. In the year 1998, I was awarded the 1st Prize, Drawing, at the XXI Villa Constitución National Exhibition Hall, Argentina. In 1999, at the Histórico del Norte Museum, I received the Silver Medal Honorable Mention at the 2nd Salta National Exhibition Hall, Argentina. I was awarded the Honorable Mention at the 2nd National Drawing Exhibition at the Guaman Poma Museum, Argentina, in the year 2000. I emigrated towards the United States in the year 2000. In 2003, I received the Grand Prix at the Second International Drawing Biennial in Melbourne, Australia, which was organized by the Polish Art Foundation. I also had an exhibition in the year 2004, at the Benalla Art Gallery in Melbourne, Australia. I was awarded the Honorable Mention at the 7th National Drawing Exhibition Hall at the Guaman Poma Museum, Argentina, in the year 2006. In the year 2007 I became finalist at the Halpert Biennial 07, Turchin Center, Appalachian State University at Boone, North Carolina. My work titled “The Serenity of a Thought” received, in 2008, the Gold Medal Award from the Art Spirit Foundation, at the Pastel Society of America’s 36th Annual Juried Exhibition; later on in the year 2009, this same work was selected to become part of the show that took place at the “Butler Institute for American Arts” in Ohio. In 2009, I became finalist at the Salmagundi Art Club, in New York City, in the 32nd Annual Juried Exhibition for non members, “Richeson 75 International Pastel Competition”. In the year 2010, I became a Finalist at the California Art Club “99th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition” Since 2009 I received several awards in the followings Pastel Societies: Cape Cod, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Emerald Art Center,Pastel Society of America..
